This was a commissioned piece that I had a lot of fun with. It finished out at 7’ L x 33” H. Squared the back of the top slab for a flush fit against the wall and squared a matching slab to use as the shelf. I know that sacrificing a matching slab to use as the shelf was not the most economical decision, but it complimented the top quite well and I didn’t have to worry about tonal differences between both pieces of wood. Finished with a home brewed Danish Oil mixture then topped with oil based poly. The bases are made from 1 1/2” raw steel scaled and ground out to a stainless finish and clear coated.
