This was fun build. My first attempt at bookshelves , just used simple dadoes for the shelves with a little help from screws and glue . Each section was built seperate for more support and then screwed together . Fairly cheap to build coming in under $200 moms a happy camper.

Love these. So practical and nice to look at.

Nice, clean and always great to have.

The bookcases are beautiful! I’m about to start in on my own first set of built-in’s. If they turn out as nice as yours, I’ll be happy, happy. Would you share the type and thickness of wood you used? I like the proportions you ended up with as well as the cost!

Best Regards,
Mike
