Toy Barn

This is the toy barn I built for my grandson primarily from scrap 1/2” plywood. I have built two dollhouses and he wanted a barn. I’m not an experienced woodworker and had problems getting the roof line just right. The other major challenge for me was hanging the doors square and the rear sliding door. All in all, I’m pleased and he loves it.

Many thanks to others who have posted their toy barn projects. I had been unable to find acceptable plans. After viewing the great projects on Lumberjocks, I drew my own and started cutting.

Great job for a grandson—he’ll love it and remember it always. I still remember the toy barn my father built for me when I was a small rug rat.

Nice job. Someone is going to have a ball playing with that barn.
