My neighbor was clearing his property and he had about 20 willow oak trees he had cut down. So I loaded them up on my trailer and milled a few. I needed a headboard so here we are. This was made from one tree with several boards left over, all rough cut. All I did was sand it a little. The side post are true 6×6’s the middle are true 2×4’s and the top is true 1×6. I stained it with a custom hickory mix stain left over from a mantle I built for my house. Then I put a satin urethane on it and polished it with paste wax. This thing is very heavy. I guess about 300 pounds of solid oak. Thanks for looking. Have a nice day. Hugh
