I built the fly rod from bamboo culms and the case is cherry. This was a gift to my grandmother for x-mas last yea, my grandfather taught me how to make the fly rod before he passed.

how many tears were shed when this beauty was presented??? !!! I’m tearing up just reading the story. And the rod and case are wonderful. Nicely done.

Amazing!!! Bamboo flyrods are something i want to learn but am a long way from. Again Amazing!!!!
