I made this little box (4×4x3.5) for a dear friend who is having heart surgery next week. My wife took the pictures and no don’t ask why she likes doing them on the lawn. The box is Hickory and the lid is Pecan. I put the pull nob on it because she’s 83 and it just made it easier.
I told her it was a multipurpose box. She has a real ornery husband, so it can be either a prayer box (which is what I intended) or she can put her husband’s ashes in it if he gets out of line.
It’s finished with several coats of natural Danish Oil and several coats of Poly. It was fun to make, but I hope her surgery goes better than my woodworking operations. She loved it and is still laughing.
-- I thank God for everything, especially all of you!
