I have been slacking in posting lately-it has been a very productive year in the shop-time to catch up w/ my fellow LJ’s. I built this for myself & my upcoming retirement from the USAF, I may be a few years early-but I am ready. I have plenty of room for my momentos & trinkets to highlight my 20+ years serving this Great Country. It is currently empty except for my challenge coins, the perimeter uprights are covered with the different uniforms I have worn. Made from Red Oak & finished to match the furniture in the room that this will reside. I used the Sylvania Mosaic LED strip lights for accent lighting & am very happy with those. Thanks for looking.

Thank you for your service. As a retired Navy man, I wish you “Fair Winds and Following Seas”. Well done on your work, looks neat and well done.

Very nicely done.

I’ve been thinking about a table display for my father-in-laws WWII Military Eisenhower Jacket, Flag and Medals and I think yours is a great idea to start from.

Thank you for your Service.

Thanks for sharing.
Best Regards. – Len

Well well,,,, not only a fellow vet, but also a fellow display coffee table builder,

Thanks for your choice in your career, and then to your striving for all of those years to better your self in serveing our country. I have three brother in laws who each served one hitch in the USAF, as I served one in the Navy. Listening and leading there at our several table side chats, and learning threw our compared experiences, that serving in witch ever of our nations armed forces, was NOT just a walk in the park.

I raise my cup of brew to you Woz, Thank You !!!!,,, once again.

Now as to your coffee table,,,if’n you haven’t all ready learned this, if not be prepared. That that table will not only serve as a front room table in of it self, but also it will be a very good centered starting point, of many of your conversation to all of your future visiting guest. It is a table that has a definite dual function, good choice and a nice job.

What can I say! Truly remarkable. I too am a retired military veteran (3 years Navy, 18 years National Guard, including a tour in Mosul Iraq) and this is what I would want in my living room. Really like the design and lay out. And added lights? awesome. I too agree a career in the military is not easy. Congratulations on your retirement and all your future endeavors.
