There is a project I just finish, I use pine from a old thick shelf that a friend of mine gave me and I turned it into this shelf it features a door mounted on drop leaf hinges it was my first time dealing with a rule joint and it went well. The drop leaf hinges are a little more expansive than the usual hinges I buy but they are really well made. I bought them from lee valley its the only place I could find some. I used minwax provencal and General satin water base varnish. Cheers

I like the false drawer front on this! I gotta use that in a project. Makes for a much more useful space. would be perfect for hats and gloves in the winter time. Thanks for posting it

Nice! I need one. I first thought “drawers in a raised shelf???” It is a very smart design! Tks for sharing
