This is a box I made for a friend from the offcuts of a table he and his partner commissioned from me.
It was an opportunity to try out my new Incra I-Box.
Body is hard maple, lid is birch. All finished with 10 coats of poly, linseed, paint thinner and roofing tar (just a little) and rubbed out with car polish. The handle is an old drawer pull I found in the workshop area I inherited from the previous owner of my property.
