Poplar , Cherry , Maple , and some other various surplus materials and this is created. A 7ft double ended kayak paddle. coated with several coats of epoxy and lacquer. I still have a little shaping to do. And more sanding.

You already sealed it with epoxy and lacquer and now your going to shape it????

Lacquer doesn’t do well when it gets wet, from what I understand. You probably want spar urethane instead.
