I just bought my first band saw . It is an old craftsman 12” that I got of c.l. For $100 . So naturally my first project for it needed to be a bandsaw box . I glued up some pieces of birch red oak and poplar. I got a cutting template off of the internet and used a shaker peg that I cut in half for the pull. Then I finished it with some rattle can spray lacquer. I was pretty happy with it considering it’s my first one and first time using a band saw. I can see why so many people make these they are a lot of fun too make .

Concur with Monte,
Sounds like a great deal on the 12” bandsaw as well!

Nice little BS box. I think that one of the first I made as well. Watch out, there are so many new designs you can sketch up. Soon there won’t be any time left for other projects. Welcome to the BS Box Club
