That is really cool! Did you design it?

Just about everything from clothes to toys for my great-grandson, Wyatt are John Deere green. His daddy has a big ranch with lots of JD rolling stock from tractors to bucket loaders. Wyatt has just turned 1 y/o and really needs a rocker like this. Where did you find plans? How long did it take you to build. The idea is wonderful and workmanship is superb. Great job. I’d really like to give it a try.

That’s the way . . . get him hooked on John Deere while he’s just a tyke! Great looking rocker!

Excellent job. Looks like fun.
I do find it a bit odd for someone named Oliver to build a John Deere. :-)

Thanks for all the great comments. I figured i have around 50 hrs. in it. I didn’t have any plans just used a pic from someone else from this site.

Thanks Oliver. 50 hours means it will take me a week. Better get started, I guess. Do you have any more pictures of the rocker that might help me? Is it mostly plywood?

The rocker is all hickory. And the tractor is all pine. I will look up some more pics

Nice design, nicely executed. Had a tour of the John Deere engine works in Iowa in 1981; quite an experience!

One last question…how did you make the wheels and get the decals?
