The standard shelves in my pantry limited the usable storage area. Things towards the middle and back of shelves were hard to get to, causing them to eventually be forgotten and go to waste.
My solution was sliding shelves strategically placed at heights that would allow for everything from tall cereal boxes to short soup cans. It has worked out great and it’s amazing how much fits and is still accessible.
Built in Spring of 2010.
Full extension, soft close, undermount slides.
Solid maple sides with dovetailed joints. Birch plywood bottoms. Basically drawer box construction without false fronts.
Finished with lacquer.
