messed up with argyle board had to sand to much and it got too thin. so I glued the maple and argyle together.

Wowser, Joe, that is some good looking board- either side, but I would go with the figure. I am a sucker for figure every time.

An unintended design change. It came out very well.

Well done, I would not mention that I sanded the argyle one too much, I’d just tell people that I meant to make a two sided board :-). It looks great – either side – and would be a shame for a knife to mar the surface, but I guess that is what it’s for.

You mess up very well, terrific looking board. I too, am a sucker for the curly, but the Argyle will knock your socks off.
