This project took some time , it started out getting rid of the ugly pine spindles , newel posts and railings . Then l purchased 4 oak newel posts which were seconds ,l but them on my legacy ornamental mill and change the way they looked by fabricating a hollow barley twist. After sanding, staining and notching them out to replace the old pine newel posts l built the spindles and installed all of it with the railings . Lastly l built the stops for the tempered bronze glass , mitering those stops was a challenge . Thanks for looking !
