This box was fun little one day project. I am pretty satisfied with how it came out.

Very nice Adam. I must say that for me to do that level of finish all in one day, I would have to get up at 1am, work all day without a break, and go to bed at Midnight. Whew! I need to pick up the pace a little bit.

That is a beautiful box showing beatuiful wood. I have a question about the second pic. It seem to show that you have glued up the lid, but I don’t see it in the other pics. Am I seeing this right?

WOW !! Beautiful Walnut figure and a great design : ) I wish that I could do that in one days time !! Does that include the finish as well ?

Very nice. I’m partial to Walnut projects.
Woodnut, it looks like maybe the top maybe has a lip, to make up for the hinge height? So maybe the inner part of the lid sits a bit lower than the edges.
