Marking Knife

Marking knife made from a pen blank, the blade is a old scroll saw blade, the ferrule is a brass nut used in plumbing. The blue tape is to protect my fingers while working on the knife..

update, added pics of the blade. I don’t own any honing stones, I used wet/dry 600/800 grit automotive sandpaper. To polish the blade I used some of my wife’s old finger nail buffing things, they have 4000 and 12000 grit. They work like a champ, but don’t last very long.

Nice job! Might have to try my hand at this. Did you dismantle an other marking knife for the blade, or did you buy one somewhere?
