This thing completes the drillpress accessories I needed to add.

Although I don’t move the drillpress around very often I now have that option if needed. The base raises the drillpress by 7 1/2 inches which puts the working area at a more comfortable spot for me (with my back I need it that way). Harder to change speeds but I rarely do that anyways.

Used 3” locking wheels but no need to lock them as there is no lateral pressure when using it unlike a router table. As for stability it is actually more stable now than it was without the base. No signs of wanting to tip over when I moved it around for testing.

Again I used scrap 2×6 lumber.

It is nice to have the option to easily move your drill press if needed. Nice build.
