Craftsman Style Bedroom Suite

This is my version of a Craftsman style bedroom suite – bed, night stand, table and lamp. Made from QSWO and finished with Danish Oil (med walnut) and top coated with wipe on poly.

The bed is king size and I made it a little wider than normal so that I could put a frame for the mattress under it. This allows the dust ruffle to hang behind the side rails without being cut for cross slats.

Wow… that’s some excellent craftsmanship and design! Love it. I was proud of the chest of drawers, dresser and night stands that I made but I wish I had seen your design before I built mine. Where did you find this design or did you design it?

Nice work! I’m also building this bed now, about 1/2 done. Are you using”Wood” magazine plans? The only change I’m making is the middle spindle will be wider to accomondate a arts & crafts style tile(Matawi) Thanks for sharing.
