Craftsman Style Bedroom Suite

This is my version of a Craftsman style bedroom suite – bed, night stand, table and lamp. Made from QSWO and finished with Danish Oil (med walnut) and top coated with wipe on poly.

The bed is king size and I made it a little wider than normal so that I could put a frame for the mattress under it. This allows the dust ruffle to hang behind the side rails without being cut for cross slats.

Awesome craftsmanship with very excellent artistic skills. I hope to build something like that very soon for one of my grandsons.

Wow… that’s some excellent craftsmanship and design! Love it. I was proud of the chest of drawers, dresser and night stands that I made but I wish I had seen your design before I built mine. Where did you find this design or did you design it?

Nice work! I’m also building this bed now, about 1/2 done. Are you using”Wood” magazine plans? The only change I’m making is the middle spindle will be wider to accomondate a arts & crafts style tile(Matawi) Thanks for sharing.
