Wife wanted a mirror near the front door so I googled morris mirrors and got a picture of this. I played with the measurements I felt would look best and went to work.
The wood is reclaimed pine from an old 1870’s house garage. I used loose tenons. Cut the mortises using my slot mortiser. The drawer is pretty small and doesn’t slide well but I only put things in there that I probably will never need again.
Put one coat of oil based varethane on it to bring out the colour. Then waited 48 hrs and applied 3 coats of water based satin (same as my tables).
