One of my most complicated projects that came out of my Woods II class this year. My student made an end table with a cherry and maple top that sits on a cherry and maple base. This took him the entire semester and then some. The top got a little thin for him as the sanding took a bit more than he would have liked. The base is held together with screws and dowel joinery. The top is attached with table top fasteners as the top was too thin for dowels and too late in the semester to change the design. A completely beautiful project!
