I made this shelf to fit in an in-wall recess in the kitchen for my mother. The wood is hard maple and the back is Baltic birch plywood. I joined the outer case with pocket hole screws and drill the holes with a kreg shelving pin jig. I made the trim out of hard maple scrap I resawed on the table saw and used an 1/8” round over bit. The finish is lightly tinted shellac with transtint dye. I Like how it turned out and so did my parents! Let me know if you have any questions!
-- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. -Ephesians 6:10-11
