floating clock

This is a cherry clock I made as a proof for a larger clock to come. I used this one to work out the kinks on making it. I like the floating of the dial board within the carcass a lot.
I used miller dowels in the side for added decoration and set them so that are 1/16” proud of the surface.
The back shows the blocks and brass pins and how the dial board is suspended.
The bigger sibling is coming next.
