Living Room Furniture

Project by Ben posted 425 days ago 401 views 1 time favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

My mother and father in law wanted some new living room furniture. Mainly, they wanted a coffe table and an end table. They are made out of solid oak in the mission style. The top was glued together and then entirely handplaned since I didn’t have a power planar at that time. They are both pieces that I’m really proud of.

I admire your ability to use a hand plane. I don’t have the talent or stamina!

Beautiful Work!!

Nice work…. All the hand planing makes you appreciate the power planer though. Don’t get me wrong; I love using my hand planes but the electrically powered machines sure are quicker.

Great job. I’m impressed you used a hand plane. Thanks for posting.
