This is my third entertainment center build – for myself this time. I wanted to include a display area in the side units to feature my Grandfather’s collection of old Swiss/German beer steins. It is constructed of cherry and cherry ply for the panels. I usually use solid wood for panels but wanted to try cherry plywood with a MDF core which my lumber supplier started stocking recently. I think the plywood worked out ok – but won’t use it for finer quality work for others just yet. I enjoyed making this project as it all came together easily – which I can’t say for most of my work.

well done L man. Cherry is my go to wood. Nice rich color that keeps getting richer.
