Dining room buffet. This was intended to be a draft version, something to make design mistakes on (and there were a few), to be followed up by a rebuild with more expensive material, but it came out well enough that it will be a long time before it gets rebuilt. There were a handful of firsts in this and a few things learned in the process. Dimensions are 94” wide x 18” deep x 34” high.

And yes, this monster is already full. :)

Thanks Jim. My wife helped pick the hardware. I picked the hardware style, but she convinced me to go with the polished nickle instead of the antiqued brass. I’m glad she did. When I eventually rebuild it (way down the pike now) I’m going to try to get the same hardware.

Looks fantastic.

I was having trouble seeing it at first, but when I added a filter, the details showed up better for me:

-- Support woodworking hand models. Buy me a sawstop.

Thanks Buckethead. We’re working with a new camera. While the picture detail is amazing we still need to sit down and learn how to use it. The combination of the flash and the dark color, covered in poly didn’t help much for photos.
