A little project that was made because I bought a chinese little pasta machine and needed somewhere to dry the pasta. The Pasta Tree is made from scraps of local hardwood Maki (not sure about spelling) that I was gifted by my neighbour and dowels from Sapán, another beautiful hardwood from Colombia. Finished with oil after sanding up to 400 grit.

A sad footnote is that the little chinese pasta machine broke shortly after… anyone up for making a design in wood that will last?Sind sie hier Herr Wandel?

Footnote 2: the concrete lamp in the background I made out of a half gallon juice bottle and a tin can from my sons milk formula, some scrap wood and electrical fittings.

Thanks, just one of those little things that you never do but that only takes 1 hour to make when you get around to it. The rack that is, the machine I leave to the likes of gear-lords like Mathias Wandel.
