I have an upcoming project where I want to make some splined miters. This is a simple and easy jig to make splined miters on larger items such as boxes as opposed to the traditional splined miter jig that runs on the table saw fence for picture frames. The jig is quick and easy to make and is made entirely from a piece of 24” x 24” x 3/4” plywood. You can use it with a runner or attach it to a miter gauge like I did.

Easy to use means it’ll get used.
Nice work Jay.

Very nice and a great idea using the miter gauges instead of fixed rails in the miter slots. Thanks for sharing.
