I posted this project a short time ago with only a picture of the finished product. A couple of you asked me exactly what I had scrolled in the project, so I’ve decide to post it again with the addition of a few pictures showing the process. Since I have to make 9 of these it was easy to take the pictures even after the original was finished.

Very nice Scrolling. I was one that asked about the scrolling. Was it your design and did you add a backer board to it…just wondered because of the black looking lettering. What size is your sign? I would really be interested in a design like that. Thank you for sharing just how you made it.

Worked at UPS did you…I spent about 15 years as a driver and supervisor before breaking my back. How are your knees holding up?

I very much like this sign. Nicely crafted and very meaningful words.

Hawaiilad, it is not my design. It is a Sheila Landry pattern which you can pick up on her website: http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com. It is 3.75” X 16” and costs $3.95.

As for UPS, I avoided management like the plague. I retired in 2008. I have had my right knee replaced….twice. UPS had to pay for both of them. I am loving retirement though!

I got off the truck after 10 years so the knees are not bad but they paid for back problems..or I guess I am paying still. I agree, retirement is good…sure wish there were more hours in the day!!
