Several years ago my wife put ina request for some mission oak furniture, specificaly a Morris Chair. We purchased the White Oak and then the project went on hold while working on the house. One thing lead to another and then, finally 5 years later, I got right after it and went on an Arts and Crafts consruction frenzy. The rocker and the Morris chair were from plans out of Wood Magazine, the side table is my own design.

Nice work. The white Oak looks gorgeous. Did you make or buy the seat cushions?

Thanks guys! It means a lot more coming from fellow wood workers than someone who can’t tell the difference between custom and store bought!
My wife the quilter made the cushions! She doesn’t think they turned out very well, but I was pleased.

The arts and crafts style furniture has to be one of my favorites, and you haven’t let it down. I like the chairs and the the side table. Great job.

Very nice job on these. Where’s the rest? I know she’s had you busy making furniture for the rest of the house. Thanks for the post.

Beautiful work … you just can’t beat it for beauty and comfort.
I have been thinking about making a rocker and side-table … your design gives me some ideas. Thanks!
