Just wanted to share what I do with scraps in the shop. That is a quarter in the top to show the size of the project. Just a humble toothpick holder but gladly accepted by my wife. Don’t throw those scraps away!

“Don’t throw those scraps away”, words to live by.

Scrap is just undeveloped ideas, in many pieces.

-- While teaching a class, a gentlemen once asked me: "When chip carving an intricate design, what do you do when you are almost finished and the wood breaks off?" I replied "Cover the kids ears."
