Thought I would post a few pics of some of the pens we have been doing. I got to figuring up last night, and to my surprise, we had sold just over 1400 pens since Jan 1 2014. The first pic is one we made up for a young man who is fighting cancer. We had seen the Fishing For Drew Facebook page, and read about this young man, and wanted to make something for him. So we made him a Red, White, and Blue wooden pen with a bass clip on it and sent it to him. His father sent a message talking about how much he liked it and thought it was “Really cool” If anybody is interested in making him anything, you can contact me for his shipping address. The smile on his face is PRICELESS!

Fantastic. That first picture is priceless. The pens look great. 1400 pens in a short time … Amazing.

Awesome gift. The motor on your lathe must be smoking.

Making someone smile is a great thing. Making 1400 pens is insane. Glad to see things are going well.

Nice gesture Hoss – making that young man smile is priceless. How the heck did you sell 1400 pens since the beginning of the year. I wish my site was selling that many – of course my average pen sale is in the $300-$500 range (not the pens that I make though).

Wonderful! We have to create opportunities to involve young people in our craft. My grandfather did. He gave me a lifetime of enjoyment.

That fantastic grin says it all! (Who needs a marketing department, anyway?)
A definite day brightener—thank you!
