Wacked Out Side Table

Project by WoodWorkaholic posted 425 days ago 496 views 2 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I’m not really sure what gave me the idea to make this table. The top and bottom are one piece. The legs run through the top and bottom and are held permanently by walnut dowels. The dowels are tough to see due to the fact i used a heavy amount of toner to hide the joints and make the table appear to be carved from one piece.

Cool design. The third photo gives the impression the legs are walking. Thanks for sharing.

You did a great job making it look “as one”. I like this style if you want to call it that, of furniture. The kind that looks like it defies gravity.

very cool design! you are right that the toner really does make it look like it is all one piece.

Nice look, different. Like Dan says, art for arts sake.
