Retirement trunk that I built for a USMC Major. This was my first time building one this large. I was really happy with the way that it came out. Cedar lined on the inside with a tray for all of his coins. Pilot wings on the front.

Gorgeous work! I’ve seen plenty of shadow boxes and such in the Air Force, but never seen something like this. Great idea and looks awesome!

Glad I looked, at first I wasn’t going to.
Very nice. I like the emblem, the hardware, the quality of the build. Is that a glass cover or plexi? How did you get such a smooth bend to it?
I am sure the major will appreciate the work.

Very nicely done—especially like the pilot wings.

Very nice gift and tribute to a long service. I especially like the individual personal touches like his “history” display and military challenge coin display.
