Almond wood beams and Bateo, a type of Mahogany for the planks… All planed and sanded with hand tools and planks are ship lapped.
It took 4 months to prepare the wood for installation.

8×8 Spanish Cedar beams are over the windows and doors.

Most of my projects involve the wood lathe. Nice ceiling. That would be tough to put on the lathe!!! LoL…Great job. Keep posting good stuff.

Thanks for the comments, yes they are structural.. they are as strong as steel and weigh as much. The Almond wood is so dense it will sink if placed in a container of water.
