I made one of these about 2 weeks ago but I used rope for the ’’back bone’’. I did like the idea but the rope had to go. Today I went with 3/16 SS cable and Aluminium Stops for the backbone, no need to worry about rust spots or water/oil damage.
The fish measure about 14” length plus another 6” for the ‘handle’, width is 8”, material is maple with a Watco finish.
Enjoy….

I’ve had an idea like that banging around in my head, and here you’ve done it. Good job! I did do some drawings, but nothing more. I never would have thought of a metal backbone. Thanks! I might have to get it off the paper and onto the kitchen counter.
