This is my 2×4 2014 creative contest build entry. This is a fully functional clock that is made to resemble my dead blow mallets I made in prior episodes. All of this is made from a single 2×4. This contest is really helped me open my eyes to the possibilities of what you can make with very limited means. Not only my project but all the other entries as well. I have seen everything from an acoustic guitar to Damascus looking Sword and sheath, all from one stick of lumber. I did a full video build on this project and if you’re interested you can click the link below.

Very good Drew. I think I left a comment on another page for this. If not, I’ll re-iterate: I noticed the remote on your bench. Is that for dust collection? If so, could you elaborate on that a bit? Thnx in advance.

So glad you all like it. Thank you for the kind words.

Roger, my remote is for my dust collection. It is a remote clicker that I bought at lowes. It controls two outlets and works great. You don’t need an expensive remote system to get it to work. I will address it better in a question and answer episode this week.
