Yes, I’m beginning to think I have a problem. This is the 2nd round of cutting boards … and I am already planning on more. If I only had room for some 8/4 cherry….
Three of these sold immediately: the two hard maple end grains, and the end grain with a lot of Walnut. The rectangular hard maple piece … I thought it was a cheese board I made out of left over glue-ups, but the buyer thought it was a perfect birthday present/cutting board for their RV.
The round board has a 20 degree cant to the edge, which I like a lot. It ended up being a 14” diameter because I didn’t have the right blade on my band saw.
A “making of” photo essay is on my blog, MowryJournal.com, here.
