I built this sandbox for my 2yr. old daughter. I used a 3’x4’ shipping pallet for the base, 2”x6” old rafter beam for the sides and to join the sides to the bottom pallet. I used a 1/4” thick wall panel to cover the slats and create a bottom for the sandbox. I stapled drop cloth to help hold the sand in the box.

Hello Jaimeson,

Look like a great project for your daughter.

Don’t forget to make a cover for it to keep out unwanted surprises from animals !

Yes I need to make a cover, that is 1 of my projects for next weekend. Right now I have a tarp over it.
