This pipe was made for TerryR in the 2014 pipe swap.
The stummel is made from briar and the stem is made from
Acrylic.

Was it sand blasted? Looks like a blackberry root; don’t have much knowledge about briar.

This one was carved with a Dremel and a few small hand made sanding tools and it went through a series of dyes using powdered pigments mixed with DNA burned off in stages with light sanding done in between to stage the various colors.
