It’s a Table! It’s a chair! no it’s a storage chest? WTF is it?
it’s useful whatever it is.
17th century furniture type in a 14th century style.

Well done. I like that. Is it your own design, or did you find the plans somewhere? Either way, it’s a nice looking project.

sometimes you need a table, sometimes you need a chair, you always need storage space. the concept dates from @1640, or I believe that the oldest known existing one is dated about then. so go ahead “steal” the idea…do you want plans? I shared them on Sketch Up “table chair chest”
for mine I used case construction that looks like 14th or 15th century work, used pocket screws and biscuits to joint it together. very little glue. pine and a pair of hinges from Home depot.
