A Jewelry Box

Project by ChuckV posted 421 days ago 768 views 2 times favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I am just getting started in woodworking. I spent some time working through David Freedman’s book Box-Making Basics. This box is from the last chapter of that book.
I have not yet built any dividers or internal trays. I want to wait to see just how my wife ends up using it and then we will decide on how the interior should be finished.
The box is made from walnut and white ash.

Very well done! Be careful….box making is addictive.

Chuck,

This is a good looking box. The ash and walnut really compliment one another.

Thanks for the post.

Chuck, I concur with Charlie and Martin, box making is addictive and I’m a true junkie! I have the same book that you mentioned and you have done the design proud. Excellent work!
