Have realized a 20oz framing hammer doesn’t showing adequate respect for my wood handled chisels.

Center section has 2” holes filled with #6 lead shot. Maple head. Handle is laminated lacewood / mahogany. Finish is three applications of 50% tung 50% spar varnish.

Well, I’m not sure I would want to “ding” up that pretty of a mallet!

It figures. Thor’s gonna come looking for his hammer. It’s definitely worthy. It looks for better for you chisel collection. It looks heavy enough to do the work for you. When you make it’s Norse god inspired little brother, my I suggest an appropriate name. I’m sorta leaning toward Ragnarok or Bob. ;)
