These coolers are selling like hotcakes. I guess because they are rather unique. And they are fairly easy to make. I have sold about 40 in the last year and have 20 more on order…...

Damn, Dave! Great job! What’s the profit margin on those babies? Do you feel like it’s worth your time to make 20 more?

It’s a unique Idea and has lots of eye appeal, well done ,congrats on a successful product.
It looks like you have built these around a plastic cooler?

These have a lot of character and are nicely done.

Hey Dave – I too would like to know your profit margin on these if you don’t mind. I have built and sold around 10 of them myself. I think I am going overkill on the details though. Due to them being an outdoor item, I have been only using stainless steel hinges and handles. They are pricey and eat into the profit margin but I am not confident regular rubbed bronze or similar style hinges and handles wont rust…

Dave those look awesome ! My wife has been asking me to make one. Can you let me know the materials you used please. I was thinking I would make it out of cedar.

As well, do you have any plans that you could forward on/

Thanks

I was also interested in pricing and profit margin, if you don’t mind sharing your trade secrets. By the way, they look awesome.

Have your say...
