I made 6 of these dog beds from birch plywood. I made mdf templates to run a flush-cut router bit against. Very simple construction just glued and screwed at the corners and along the base. The finish is hand painted water based paint as it will most likely be chewed by dogs. The customer wanted them white for an “elegant” look to the new kennels but I think she’ll most likely paint them a darker colour when they get dirty. All of the pieces including the base were rough cut with a skill-saw and jigsaw then cleaned up with the router and templates.
I added a photo of one of the beds in place with the foam matress and cushions.
