Cheval Mirror I made for my wife. We had a door mirror that flung wildly when you opened a closet door that got on my nerves. The frame and legs are Pecan with Walnut accents. The finials are pecan and walnut. There are threaded dowels hidden under the walnut saddles. I embedded 1/4” screws in the side finials that pass through the legs, through the spacers and into the threaded dowels. The finish is a light coat of BLO, then three or four coats of poly.
