Wild wood grain spinning top

This top is made from ambrosia maple from my firewood, obtained from a tree from my front yard I cut down over a year ago. I didn’t realize the wood looked like this until I finished turning it. That on the bottom that looks like a catch, is actually the wood. This one is jumbo also.

That is some wild grain in that one good job. I keep forgetting about these I need to make some for shows I never have enough ideas for smalls.
