This is a wine rack I made today. Don’t know what I think of it yet.

I like it – has a nice rustic look for good drinking. What distance did you use between the holes?

Well, now that is a funny one for some on here. I didn’t measure. I held up three bottles and they happened to fall the same distance apart as the pencil I was using at the time so they are a well sharpened pencil apart. I can measure it for you though and see. Center points are 4.5” apart. The back is at a 30 degree angle. I might try 45 next time. This was just a prototype to test out different angles and heights and sizes.

I am considering also of leaving the 30 degrees alone and drill the holes at maybe a 15 -20 degree angle to the face of that board lifting them more.

I think a 30 degree stand with an angled hole would look good and would still provide the needed balance and smaller footprint for a small table top or sideboard! Nice job
