This Jalen’s third project. He is 16 years old.

He made a Blacker House Arm Chair at 14 years old. and a Maloof Inspired Low Back Chair at 15 years old.

This game table was designed by Darrel Peart using the Gamble House table for inspiration. I contacted Darrel and asked if he would allow Jalen to build a table from this design. He said that would be fine and if he would credit him for the design he would send me his plans. This things you like about this table are from Darrell the things you don’t are changes we made.

All Total he has about 215 hrs. in this project.

Thanks everyone. It has been fun to see him grow the last three years both physically and as a woodworker. This summer he is going to start taking some classes at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking. I will be fun to see what he can do with some professional training.

Very impressive !!!!

I love to see young people accomplishing big things.

Looks like you’ve got quite the woodworking family. You must be very proud.
