I made this shop shelf specifically for my sliding mitersaw thinking I would be able to pop it off the wall and take it with me if I had a project somewhere else. Also, i planned on being able to mount the shelf flat against the wall so it would give me room to park my car in the garage. The last picture “not sure why it’s sideways” shows my snowblower under the shelf which is why I have the supports on top instead of below the shelf.

It’s supported by 3 hooks and I-bolts along with 3 pins that fit into the wall.

You can see some more info in the video which shows how easy it is to remove and put back on the wall.

On my website, I show the calculations I used to ensure it would be able to support the weight which could also be used to design your own.
